HA! Yes.. I managed to make it all the way through.. and yes.. it's good to see that you (others) agree there is something a bit wrong with these scientists saying this "is" the way it is. Of course, I'm not sure I fully have the answer, but perhaps as these subjects are taught in school and presented in the news there should be more emphasis that "we don't know 100%" and "as it seems now"... pointing out more examples where scientific "truths" have later shown to be false.
